I met Kelly and her husband on their farm just outside of Stellenbosch. They are expecting their first child and opted to wait until the baby is born to find out whether it’s a boy or a girl. I really admire their patience and it’s worth waiting for it to be a surprise! Towards the end of the shoot, we were joined by a little duck who just couldn’t hide his interest in all the activity - or his curiosity to find out if someone packed a snack for him :).

Tori is only four months old, but already a real bundle of femininity. Sweet and gentle, she was such a joy to meet. And she is so in love with her dad, she kept on staring endlessly into his eyes - so cute!

It was a beautiful morning when I arrived to photograph Juliette at their home and the light was perfect! There is a very special bond between Juliette and her mom and it almost felt intrusive to shoot them while they were sharing stories and kisses.

Clive is a very busy little boy - earnestly playing in the garden, inspecting anything and everything with a keen interest in his dad’s tools! His 6-month old brother, Andrew, was only awake for a very short while before settling down for his morning nap, but Clive did not seem to mind me clicking away [...]

Jamie is a real cutie - such a friendly little guy and very keen to smile at the camera!

Lucien is another little boy who tried his very best to ignore the camera, but with a lot of patience and a change of scenery I finally managed to get a few decents pics.

This is a gorgeous family with such an obvious close bond between them. The boys are beautiful and happy and an absolute joy to work with!
