Cara | Stellenbosch Baby Photographer

Meet Cara – she is the gorgeous little angel who came from this beautiful bump. She was not very happy when I met her the first time and after trying to settle her for a while (at least taking some photos in the process) I decided to call it a day and come back a week later. It was well worth the effort as she was totally relaxed and sleepy the second time round! Baie geluk met julle pragtige klein dogtertjie, ek weet sy gaan vir julle nog baie vreugde bring!

Visiting from the UK | Cape Town Photographer

Zanelle and her family spent some time in South Africa, visiting her sister who had recently given birth to little Mieke. I took pictures of her daughter,Cara, during their previous visit to SA, but this time she was joined by both her parents and her little brother. It was quite a busy morning, as I did their shoot just after (or actually in between, LOL) photographing Mieke and it was a mission to coordinate all the little peopleĀ  between nap time, feeding time and general I-hate-the-camera time! Hope you enjoy your photos!

Candice is a friend of Lola’s whose children I photographed during this shoot. Candice loved the location I used for that shoot and we decided to meet at the Helderberg Nature Reserve again.

Another boy for Julie | Stellenbosch Family Photographer

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Julie is pregnant with her third little boy. Jack is three years old and Luke two, so it’s no wonder Julie is in such fine shape! Here are a few images of her very neat little bump.

Brittney and K.C. | Somerset West Photographer

When Lola asked me about a location for their shoot, I suggested the Helderberg Nature Reserve as I just love the wooded area there. The light can be a little tricky, but since I used the location before, I had a better idea of how to handle it. The weather was horrible in the two weeks preceding the date of the shoot and we had to postpone once before already! It was with an anxious heart that I woke up that morning, listening for the telltale sound on the roof, but we were lucky! When I looked outside it was clear skies and beautiful. It was quite chilly though and poor Brittney and K.C. shivered in their short sleeves, but I think it was worth the effort. These are a few of my favourites – it was very hard to choose!
