Cara | Stellenbosch Baby Photographer
Meet Cara – she is the gorgeous little angel who came from this beautiful bump. She was not very happy when I met her the first time and after trying to settle her for a while (at least taking some photos in the process) I decided to call it a day and come back a week later. It was well worth the effort as she was totally relaxed and sleepy the second time round! Baie geluk met julle pragtige klein dogtertjie, ek weet sy gaan vir julle nog baie vreugde bring!
Sameul | Somerset West Photographer
Sameul was eight weeks old when I met him and his parents at their home in Somerset West. He was not at all a happy camper when I arrived and apparently had a rough night with very little sleep. After we did the family photos with a very unhappy and very cold little boy, we decided to call it a day and give Sameul a break. I returned a few days later and got the the rest of the shots I was after! He is a gorgeous little boy, with delicate features and such a luxurious head of hair. Here are a few of my favourites.
Joshua is 7 weeks old | Paarl Baby Photographer
Ek het vir Joshua en sy ouers by hulle huis in die Paarl ontmoet en wat ‘n oulike mannetjie is hy nie! Hy het selfs ‘n paar keer vir my geglimlag, maar net as ek die kamera laat sak – so dit was maar moelik om daar oulike, laggende bekkie vas te vang. Hy was baie geduldig met my op ‘n Kaapse wintersoggend en dit was heerlik om die klein ou babalyfie af te neem.
And Mieke makes Four | Paarl Baby Photographer
Meet 2 week old Mieke. She came from this beautiful bump and is just as cute, strong and alert as her sister was two years ago. I once again met them at their farm just outside of Paarl and it was a great honour to meet the newest addition to the family. May she fill your home, hearts and lives with lots of love and laughter!
Finn | The Gorgeous Boy who made me an Aunt
Finn is the perfect little baby boy of my sister – the first of my siblings to finally make me an aunt! He is, without a doubt, the most beautiful baby I have ever seen (and off course I’m not biased at all) and the only reason that I didn’t take as much photos as such an adorable face deserves, is that I was too busy holding and cuddling him for the two days I got to spend with them. He was three weeks old at the time of the shoot and can you believe how beautiful my sister is looking? She gives new meaning to the term yummy mommy…
Introducing Luc | Cape Town Baby Photographer
Meet Luc – perfect and adorable at only six days old. I met him, his parents and his twin siblings at 09h00 in the morning at their home in the Northern Suburbs. It must have been no small feat to get everyone ready so early in the day! They’re all very excited about the new addition and it was a lot of fun to spend some time with them. Luc behaved like an angel and slept through most of the commotion.

Zania | Cape Town Baby Photographer
Zania is 4 weeks old and such a tiny little thing! I met her and her parents at their home in Belville and she was fast asleep through the first half of the session. She finally woke up to stare at us with her bright eyes and behaved like a true little model.
Tian
Gorgeous little Tian came from this bump and was perfectly content to be disturbed continuously for his very first photo shoot. He is such a cute guy, with those dark, alert eyes.
Andro | Cape Town Family Photographer
Andro came from this bump and is a very patient and relaxed little guy. He and his brother are very handsome little guys and I’m sure they’ll get up to lots of mischief together when they’re a little older!
Gabriella and Josephine | Cape Town Photographer
I met Gabriella and Josephine at their home in Hout Bay – their mother wanted to have pictures taken of the girls as a gift for their dad. I took by backdrop and lights with me and set up a little studio in their lounge. There was enough natural light that I could take most without the studio lights, which always makes me happy!
Gabriella is the eldest and how gorgeous is she?
Josephine is the new addition to the family and just wanted to be left alone – very sleepy little girl and hates to be undressed!
And since the family originally are from the Netherlands, we could not wrap up the shoot without a photo of Gabriella in her fan gear. Hup Holland hup!!
Nico | Somerset West Baby Photographer
This gorgeous little fella came from this bump and is his parents firstborn. He was a very good model for his very first shoot, as long as he had his dummy firmly in his mouth (or was being cuddled by mom or dad)!
Hilde and her little ones
I met Hilde at her home in Milnerton to help welcome the arrival of her newborn son who was only one week old at the time of the shoot. His slightly older sister was also at home, so off course we couldn’t exclude her from the shoot! Hilde also has two older children who already goes to school, so I could focus all my attention on the little ones.

Suzanne recently gave birth to her third beautiful little girl and I went to their home in Durbanville to capture the new addition as well as the rest of the family. They are such awesome people and I had a great morning with the five of them. Apart from the pictures I took in the house, I set my stand and backdrop up in the garden and used only natural light to capture these images and I really like them!
Ethan: 3 weeks | Stellenbosch Baby Photographer
This tiny man really made me laugh! He fell asleep in the car on the way to the studio and woke up once they arrived and he was taken out of his car seat. But he was still very sleepy and just wanted to be left alone so he could doze off again. He managed to produce a very annoyed little frown and I’m sure if he was able to talk, he would have a few choice words for us! He eventually fell asleep again – which is a good thing with baby photography – but he did not want to be moved, touched of disturbed in any way! He wanted to be held just so, or else he’d start complaining. What a cute little guy – you tell them, Ethan, never let anybody push you around! He made for a few very cute images, a real character!

This exceptionally sweet little boy came from this beautiful bump and I had the privilege of spending a little time with him at his home just outside of Stellenbosch. He is an absolute picture of contentment and slept through most of the shoot.
Ariella: 5 weeks | Cape Town Baby Photographer
Ariella’s mom was given one of my vouchers by her colleagues for her baby shower and I went to their home for her very first photo session. When I got there, she was very sleepy and relaxed and she was so easy to photograph. One thing about newborns during a photo shoot – they tend to get very thirsty! For this, and many other reasons, a shoot should never be rushed and it was so convenient to do the shoot in her own home where she is familiar with her surroundings. Ariella is a very sweet little girl and I know she will bring lots more love and joy into this home!
Shaun – 5 weeks old | Somerset West Baby Photographer
Shaun’s mom and dad are two of the nicest people I have met in a long time and such relaxed first time parents! With their no-nonsense attitude the shoot was done in no time and the little man didn’t seem bothered by the whole process at all.

Meet Jana. She came from this bump. She’s not even a week old, but already very aware of her surroundings! I love seeing the wonder on the faces of new parents, these moments are so precious.
One week old and already gorgeous
This is Mandi’s second baby – I first photographed her when she was still a bump! She was as good as gold throughout the entire shoot, despite having no interest in taking a nap. Have you ever seen such a stunning head of hair on such a little girl?
