Karlien is my brother’s girlfriend – she is a wonderful addition to our family and I couldn’t have chosen a better person for him to be with! Megan contacted me to book a shoot as a gift to her mother for her 60th birthday. We decided to meet at the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and we were lucky to have a little bit of cloud to block out the harsh summer sun!

I met Gill and her family at the Helderberg Nature Reserve. They wanted to have a proper family shoot done, before all the children went back to their own lives and in fact, her one son was due to travel back to the UK that very evening. Your children are never too grown up and it is never too late to have family portraits taken!

This family of five is the nicest group of people I have met in a really long time! Patricia works for Helderberg Hospice and she won one of my vouchers at a Somerset West Business Network meeting. The voucher couldn’t have been won by more deserving person and it was a joy and a privilege to spend some time with them.
